Applicability of the Terms and Conditions
The use of the TTTALK NL website and/or services, whether as a guest/traveller or as a host, constitutes acceptance of all terms and conditions and confirms that users understand, agree to, and accept the provisions outlined herein.
Hosts on the platform, as well as travellers using the platform, also agree to adhere to the TTTALK Code of Conduct, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
Hosts
Hosts are Dutch citizens and/or any other individuals or entities capable of receiving guests/travelers in their homes or offering suitable accommodations.
Each Host has access to a Trade Page (commercial profile) on the platform, where they can edit their profile and set their availability to host guests as they wish.
Additionally, Hosts can create and offer Activities based on their availability, which will be displayed on their profiles.
An individual or entity becomes a Host on TTTALK NL by registering as such on the platform.
Through the platform, Hosts can receive scheduled bookings and maintain real-time and continuous contact with potential guests.
Travellers / Guests
Guests are individuals who are hosted by TTTALK's registered Hosts.
They can browse Host profiles, request accommodation, and participate in any Activities offered by the Host (if available). All interactions and bookings are conducted through the TTTALK platform.
Activities
Activities are any types of experiences added by a Host to their profile, which Guests may select when requesting accommodation. These experiences are intended to be carried out in person during the Guest's stay and are subject to the Host's availability, details of which are pre-defined on the platform.
Invitation Letter / Accommodation Invitation
The Invitation Letter is an official document automatically generated and sent to the Guest by email once a Host confirms an accommodation request.
This letter serves as both:
- Proof of transaction (between Host and Guest), and
- A formal invitation from the Host to the Guest.
Legal Entity
TTTALK Netherlands B.V. is a private limited company duly registered in the Netherlands, with its registered office located in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands.
Payment Processing and Transparency
All payments made through TTTALK NL are processed securely via third-party payment providers such as Stripe. By using our platform, you agree to the terms and conditions of these third-party providers.
The total amount you pay for a service or experience includes all applicable taxes and service costs. A portion of this amount may cover directly purchased goods or services provided by third parties (such as accommodation, transportation, or materials), and the remainder represents the profit margin of the service provider.
TTTALK NL may retain a service or platform fee, which is transparently calculated and deducted before transferring the remaining amount to the host.
Any transaction fees charged by the payment provider (e.g., Stripe commissions) are also deducted from the payment total. These costs are not refundable and are borne by the recipient of the payment unless otherwise stated.
We strive to provide full transparency regarding payment flows. If you have any questions about the breakdown of a payment, you may contact us for clarification.
Booking and Scheduling (for Travellers/Guests)
TTTALK NL reserves the right to modify the scheduling policy outlined in these Terms and Conditions at any time.
All bookings made through the platform are automatically and directly submitted to the host for confirmation.
A booking is considered valid only after the following steps are completed:
Once the accommodation and activity request is confirmed by the host, the guest must proceed with the payment to finalize the booking. Upon successful payment, the guest will automatically receive an invitation letter at the email address provided during registration, containing all essential booking details.
TTTALK NL may, when necessary, intervene in the booking process to ensure better organization and satisfaction for both travellers and hosts. This may include requests to modify the date and/or time of a reservation.
A confirmation from TTTALK NL is considered valid when it includes an official email signature and/or any official branding of TTTALK NL.
By making a booking with TTTALK NL, travellers acknowledge and accept the Cancellation Policy.
By default, all booking requests within the availability window set by the host are automatically accepted. This is because the host predefines their availability to host guests, making the booking window a pre-approved and automated confirmation.
Booking and Scheduling (for Hosts)
Hosts acknowledge that by setting their availability to host guests within specific dates on their calendar, any booking requests made by guests during this period will be automatically confirmed and submitted for payment.
However, in accordance with TTTALK NL's Cancellation Policy, hosts retain the right to cancel confirmed bookings if necessary.
Hosts understand that cancellations have a negative impact on guest satisfaction and may affect their visibility or interaction with the platform.
All hosts are expected to be familiar with and abide by TTTALK NL's Cancellation Policy.
Applicable Taxes
All transactions made through TTTALK NL are subject to applicable taxes in accordance with Dutch tax laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, Value Added Tax (VAT) and any other legally mandated levies relevant to bookings, travel services, and platform-based transactions.
TTTALK NL applies taxes based on the legal frameworks established by the Government of the Netherlands, including the “travel agency scheme” (reisbureauregeling) when applicable, and ensures proper compliance with all tax obligations related to the services provided.
It is the responsibility of both hosts and guests to understand that taxes will be calculated and included in the final price displayed at the time of booking. TTTALK NL automatically applies these taxes where required and remits them in accordance with Dutch law.
In cases where hosts have independent tax obligations (such as income tax or VAT registration requirements), it remains their responsibility to comply with those regulations. TTTALK NL does not offer tax advice and recommends that all users seek professional guidance regarding their individual tax responsibilities.
Intellectual Property Rights
All original content belonging to TTTALK NL may not be used or reproduced without explicit prior written consent from TTTALK NL. This includes, but is not limited to, all texts, editorial content, data, fonts, graphics, designs, HTML code, layout and visual elements, photographs, music, audio, images, software, videos, and any other proprietary content found on this website.
Such proprietary content is protected by applicable laws and safeguarded through all forms, means, and technologies. Users are strictly prohibited from copying, downloading, using, redesigning, reconfiguring, or retransmitting any content from the TTTALK NL platform without prior written authorization from TTTALK NL.
Quality of Information
Hosts are required to provide travellers and all users of the platform with truthful and accurate information, avoiding any misleading representations that could create false expectations for travellers. Hosts commit to being responsible, clear, and concise at all times, ensuring that all information made available through TTTALK NL is coherent, complete, and accurate.
Providing false or misleading information may lead TTTALK NL to refund travellers, either partially or fully, at its sole discretion. In such cases, TTTALK NL reserves the right to recover any associated refund costs and expenses directly from the host.
No other action taken by TTTALK NL shall be interpreted as acceptance of any liability beyond what is expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions.
Service Guarantees
TTTALK NL acknowledges that unexpected situations may occur; however, we are committed to doing our utmost to ensure the reliability and quality of our services and to minimize any disruptions or technical anomalies.
While TTTALK NL will always strive to maintain a smooth and seamless user experience, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or complete absence of technical issues on the website or platform.
TTTALK NL reserves the right to modify, correct, amend, improve, enhance, or make any other changes to the website and/or its services at any time, with the sole objective of ensuring a positive, efficient, and high-quality service environment for all users of the platform.
Declaration
The platform aims to provide users with an interactive experience tailored to their needs, and TTTALK NL is committed to ensuring that all information available on the platform is, to the best of our ability, accurate and up-to-date.
Through this declaration, TTTALK NL guarantees that it provides the necessary conditions for the proper use of the platform and its services, fostering an interactive, productive, and mutually beneficial environment for all users.
All users are required to comply with the Terms and Conditions outlined herein. Failure to do so may result in appropriate legal actions and, in severe cases, removal or exclusion from the platform.
Liability
The responsibility of TTTALK NL is focused on ensuring the proper functioning of the platform and maintaining a positive, interactive environment. TTTALK NL's role is strictly limited to providing access to the website and, where necessary, offering discreet and, when requested, transparent mediation between users.
Participation by a traveller in any in-person event or activity booked through TTTALK NL is carried out entirely at the traveller's and host's own risk. TTTALK NL bears no responsibility for covering any costs or damages arising from accidents or similar incidents occurring during such events, especially in cases where adequate safety precautions were not taken.
